Midland satellite March for Science

It will start at 3 PM, Saturday, April 22, with a rally at the Carpenter Elementary School gymnasium followed by a march through downtown Midland, across the Tridge, ending at the shelter at Chippewassee Park. Check out their Facebook page!  This will be one of more than 300 satellite marches around the world, in conjunction with the main march in Washington, DC.

There’s also a March for Science in Lansing, April 22, with Mt. Pleasant folks attending.

Finally, thank you all for your activism. The outpouring of motivated citizens in the last months has been nothing short of miraculous, but it can also be stressful. I have found that activism really is the antidote to despair, but please pace yourselves and try to find ways to make it fun. Saving the world is not easy, or quick, so be sure to take care of yourselves and find reasons to smile. This is a marathon. Wear comfortable shoes.
You are the greatest!
