Despite temperatures in the 40’s with overcast skies, a stiff breeze, and an earlier sprinkle of rain, twenty stalwart CCLers turned out on behalf of climate action. Twelve were first time marchers, including three generations of one family!
We were reinforced with John Lorand driving the family Prius and Mike Hixon, his Tesla. We passed out candy and over 200 flyers with information about the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividends Act, H.R. 763.

Our primary task is getting the word out so that folks can urge their members of Congress to pass it. Today was a successful effort.
